Life's a Beach!

***added pictures to shutterfly site. Link on right side of this page.

We spent the past weekend and Bill's final days of paternity leave in Ocean Shores at the new beach house Grandpa Steve bought. It was so much fun. We relaxed, played at the beach, mad yummy food and even had the Hubert's join us at the end of the weekend. It was really hard to leave because it is such great house and the weather was beautiful for us. We look forward to many more long weekends.

Bill went back to work yesterday after 4 weeks of paternity leave...did I mention I love Microsoft for just that reason! It was amazing to have Bill home for so long and he is so helpful and such an amazing Dad that it was hard to have him go back!

Day one was great! We didn't manage to leave the house and head to the park despite all my efforts. Henry said it was too cold and refused to leave. This makes sense on Day 2 because we awoke with a sick vomiting 2.5 year old this morning, which makes me think he was feeling a bit yucky yesterday. So it has been an interesting day so far. Lets just say I am learning quickly how to care for two kids at one time.

sick little guy passed out on the floor this morning

Reese is growing fast and still being a perfect little baby. She is smiling at us a bunch and is super interested in staring at our faces. She still loves her nightly tubby and is the best snuggler! She, like her brother, has acid reflux so we are getting meds from the Doctor on Wednesday and she will be doing better soon! She is handling the reflux much better than Henry ever did and is still sleeping well at night giving me a 4-6 hour stretch!

Despite the sick sweet toddler I am loving being home with these two sweet kids. It is busy but I like it and feel tired and happy at the end of the day which is nice. I love that we never have a dull moment but it scares me that time is passing too quickly and they will be all grown up before I know it. Henry is up so duty calls....
