Pink Cadillac

Yesterday Henry had his 2nd haircut. The place was great and it was truly a much better experience than I thought it would be. They had three seats for him to chose from. An airplane a firetruck or a pink Cadillac. The pictures below show you what he chose without any hesitation! They also gave him a bucket of cars which he happily picked through while his hair was being trimmed. I was kind of sad to see the little curls on the back go but after I had tried to cut his hair a couple months back (disaster) it definitely needed to be reshaped.

Henry's Nana came and took care of Henry while I got a chance to go visit my precious one month old niece. Eva was more adorable than I could have imagined and Tink and Dave are doing wonderful as parents. Nana and Henry had a blast. I could just tell when I got home that he had had the time of his life! The bummer is that we couldn't find our camera battery while she was here so we have no cute photos (and let me tell you there were many great photo opportunities!) Bill did get some video of her trip so below is a little Nana montage.

A Little Bit Of Fun!

Here are some great pictures from the last week or so. The weather is getting nicer which means we have become so busy! I think my favorite part about staying home with Henry, other than the sheer fact that I get to be with him all day, is that we get to spend so much time outside having fun.

Yesterday it was 70 degrees so in true pacific northwest fashion we decided to run through the sprinklers! Henry my little water bug loved every minute.

The picture below is what happens when I leave Bill and Henry alone! They always come up with some silly game to play. Not quite sure what this one is but I have to say Henry has always loved a good basket on his head!

Here is a sweet picture of the BFF's at the Kirkland marina park. The kiddos had a blast digging in the sand and the grownups had a blast just relaxing in the sun!

Lastly who can resist matching pajamas?? We have two pairs of jammies with the same pattern and when Halle needed a pair of jammies at our house I just couldn't help myself. It was so cute!

My Futures So Bright...

The warmer weather has finally arrived so we headed to the Kirkland Farmers Market for some fun in the sun. Henry found his sunglasses today and insisted on wearing them on the way to the market! It was a perfect evening. He even got to taste test some milk from a local farm. He loved it so much we have decided to have home delivery and we now officially have a milkman! This picture makes me laugh because he has no idea they are upside down and he is so proud.

Stop Picking On Me

Have you ever lost something and just can't find it. Here is Henry's first experience with that! Have a great weekend.

Give Them a Hand!

One of Henry's favorite things to do is clap. Any time something somewhat exciting happens he likes to celebrate. We had a rainy rooftop BBQ at a friends house in Seattle and this was a perfect reason to clap. Pretty funny how much Henry and Halle love to clap.

Puddle Jumper

I know I promised a video everyday but to be honest today I am TIRED! Henry is going through another sleep hiccup with very early waking and lots of crying. So instead of a video today I will show you some pictures of our day in the rain. On Monday we played in the rain because we were just sick of being cooped up this late in the spring with winter like weather. He can put his boots on all by himself and he had a ball running around the front yard and kicking puddles! Anything that helps him to work on his new jumping skills is always a good time.

I promise a video tomorrow.

Little Bird

My parents bought Henry a bird song calendar a couple months ago and we decided to hang it above his changing table to help distract him while we changed his diaper, which he sometimes resists. He loves it and has started to imitate the noises. His favorite is the common loon! The video is pretty dark but the audio portion of it is pretty funny.

Videos Galore

So we have lots of videos of Henry that we just haven't shared yet. Of course I love them all and I hope you guys do too! I am going to post one video a day for the entire week! This is aimed directly at Grandparents,Aunties and Uncles! First one is a cute one of Henry and his girl Halle helping Bill mow the lawn. The camera doesn't capture it well but they were so proud of themselves. The look on Henry's face was priceless.

All By Myself

Here is a funny little video of Henry eating his oatmeal for breakfast. Now that his spoon skills have become much better Henry eats breakfast without any help...awesome! Even though he is independent he still has a long way to go! I love how he has to close his eyes to get the spoon to his mouth.
