T.G.I.F. videos

Henry woke up with a cold this morning...yuck. Even though we have a stuffy and fussy situation we are still so glad it is Friday! Here are some videos to jump start the weekend!

Here is a shot of Henry going down the slide at Grass Lawn park.

He is also obsessed with wearing our shoes. He has gotten quite good at walking in them!

Growing Like a Weed!

Today Henry is officially 18 months old! We went to visit Dr. E today for our well check and he is still in the 90th%. He weighs a whopping 29 lbs. and is 34 inches tall...a big strong boy! He has been teething his incisors which has been rough for everyone. I figured out at the doctor that I wasn't giving him enough Motrin to help soothe the teething pain so the doctor gave me a new dosage and so far so good, lets hope it gives us all a good nights sleep.

So Henry is growing like a weed and almost never stops moving or talking! He now willingly will say anything we ask him too except for "sorry" after he and Halle have had some smack down fight! He just loves the park and is a slide and swing junkie. Yesterday we attempted a park trip but got rained out after 10 minutes...hurry up and get here Spring! Below are some random pictures of the past week and also a video of the jabber mouth.

Kid Pit's are Awesome!!!

We had another amazing day! Sun was shining and we got to hang out with great people. We began our day at Marymoor with the Hubert's. We walked through the dog park and Henry loved all the dogs as usual! Then we hit the playground where Hen and Halle rode on these springy toys that were so fun. Cute videos below!

After nap time we headed out to meet up with an old friend from college Keli, her husband Rob and their awesome little guy Macadam. We met up at the Montlake Ale House which has a circular bar ledge for adults with a "kid pit" full of toys in the middle. It is amazing and we all loved it, which we proved by staying for 4 hours! Macadam is awesome and so are his parents. He is such a sweet kid with the cutest curly hair and some killer dance moves! Henry and Halle loved their new friend and we adults had a great time too catching up and talking non stop. It was super funny when we all said hello and then listed how our kid might hurt the others and how sharing would be the lesson of the day! It is always really nice to hang out with folks doing the same things as you...makes you feel less crazy!

Here's to many more awesome days and hanging out with great people!

Park Rats

So today Henry and I were park rats! We hit up our favorite park Grass Lawn this morning and did more time on the slide than anyone else! Then we came home napped and when Hen awoke we headed off to Marymoor park. We also visited the dog park and pet some sweet dogs which Henry loved! It is late February and we are having the most beautiful weather! I sure hope it lasts! Here are some park pictures below.

Life is a Beach!

***new February pictures are up on picture sight!

We went away this weekend with all my college girls and families for a weekend at a beach house in Salishan. It was so much fun! The first 2 days were great. Henry got his first glimpse of the ocean and loved it. He was amazed with the giant "tubby"! He also loved having his new friend Bennett to play with. He and Halle were very into Bennett and loved to try and take care of him since he is a whopping 8 months younger..ha! Bennett kept dropping his milk off the highchair and Henry diligently kept giving it back to him...much like a game I have played with Henry. I also had such a great time seeing my girls. They really are an amazing bunch. On day 3 Henry woke up and started throwing up! This has been my biggest fear as a Mom. I hate vomit and I have a weak stomach. At first look I started pacing and almost threw up myself, thank goodness for Bill, but I quickly snapped into action to help our little love. It was a long day. Henry took 5 baths and the carpet was scrubbed numerous times. To cap off the day everyone was hanging out before dinner having a nice time and Henry once again vomited everywhere...on me, the carpet, toys and Kate's new hat! Did I mention vomit is hard to get out of wool!!! Instead of being upset or grossed out I watched each of my friends jump into action. Scrubbing the carpet, starting laundry, hugging me and not getting upset even a bit about a ruined hat. These girls were my co moms and it made me realize how important it is to have friends like these in my life. The ones who stick around when its hard are the good ones! Below are some pictures from the beach.

Go Already!

Over the past weekend Bill and I went away and Henry stayed behind with his Nana and Auntie Anna. Everyone had a great time! When we returned we found out that Henry has started sleeping in in the morning...amazing. His new wake up time is between 6-7:30am and it has changed my outlook on life! When we returned Henry was happy to see us but we could tell he could of handled a couple more days of no Mom and Dad. He was very happy and really liked being the King of the house with his two ladies! It is so nice to watch him make connections with other people, especially such important ones! You could tell that Nana and Anna had filled him with love and kisses. They also taught him where his chin was! It is always nice to know that you can still go away and have a lot of fun and the little one left behind is in wonderful hands! Thanks Mary and Anna, we love you!

Ooops

This past weekend I very gracefully broke our camera! We took Henry to this new little park we discovered right by our house. We were the only ones there so all 3 of us were playing on the structure and having a good old time. I bravely jumped on this balance board with camera in one hand and coffee in the other and almost immediately fell right on my butt spilling coffee all over the camera. So today Henry and I are going out to try to find ourselves a new camera. Here is a video from the park.
