Sitting Up!!!

It has been to long since I have updated this blog. We have been fighting a cold and Henry has gotten his first tooth! This has been quite a month for us. Grandpa Steve came to visit us from Wisconsin and had so much fun hanging out with his little buddy. They played many fun games of peek-a-boo and Henry just loved smiling at Grandpa! We were all sad to see him go!

On Valentines day I awoke from a nap to find Bill timing Henry sitting up! I walked in and Bill said "2 minutes so far, but we are going for a new record". It was so funny to see Henry's reaction to this new found skill. He was so proud of himself and loved the new point of view that sitting up has to offer.

Now all he wants to do is sit up and last night he even sat in the front of the cart when we went grocery shopping...what a big guy! So it has been a big month leading up to his 6 month birthday! I just can't believe all that has been happening with Henry and also am shocked he is almost 6 months old!! He has grown so fast and we are all starting to figure this family thing out! We meet with Dr. E next week so I will post back and let everyone know about our big guys growth.

Have You Seen My Mouth?

We took some videos of Henry eating last night and I thought that they were pretty funny. In the first one he is attempting to feed himself and just can't seem to find his mouth on a consistent basis. In the second one he is actually sucking his highchair to get more food. He is quite insatiable and some nights we actually have to cut him off from eating anymore! His new favorite is sweet potatoes! It is kind of exciting to see him grow up and start enjoying all of these fruits and veggies for the first time! As we have gotten more and more into food things have gotten messier and messier...I love it!
